Welcome To Something Catchy
Something Catchy is an organization, born out of the idea that no child should ever have to miss the opportunities to experience what the outdoors, and fishing has to offer. Sometimes in life these opportunities are taken away from kids, and Something Catchy is helping to give these experiences back to these children.
While you might think why fishing?
What life lessons can they take from fishing?
- Fishing teaches you patience, while waiting to catch fish.
- Fishing teaches you to respect the property of others, as everything will be supplied to the child.
- Fishing teaches you to support yourself, by learning to feed yourself.
- Fishing teaches you about the wonderful outdoors, and the beauty it holds.
- But most of all Something Catchy will teach them there are still people out there who care.
Our Mission
What We Do
Something Catchy’s primary mission is to expose children to the wonderful world of fishing. We will teach them the fundamentals and give them an experience they may have not otherwise been given. With so many children lost in the world of technology, video games, and computers, Something Catchy wants to give children the opportunity to learn about fishing, experience the outdoors, be active, and learn to provide for themselves and family.
Here at Something Catchy, we also take Veterans out fishing as a thank you for serving and sacrificing for our great country. Our service men and women have sacrificed for so much and this is just a small way to show our gratitude from us at Something Catchy. It is an honor for us to be able to give back to those who have sacrificed so much
